Interested in Becoming Catholic?
For those who are not Catholic but who are interested in the Catholic Church, the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is an opportunity to learn more about the Church and to explore whether to become Catholic. RCIA will begin in late September. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Fr. Jonathan (email@example.com) or the parish office (488-2659 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS - RCIA:
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is an opportunity for those who have an interest in the Catholic faith to come and discover the truths and teachings of the Church. Through the RCIA program, participants are given a period of time to study, pray and reflect on the teachings of the Catholic Church. Through this journey each participant makes a commitment one step at a time leading up to the Easter Vigil where the Sacraments of Initiation are received. This ancient Rite has been passed on from the early Church when the first Christians were received into the faith.
The RCIA program is for:
• Any adult not yet baptized who wishes to become Catholic.
• Any adult baptized in another Christian church who wishes to become Catholic.
• Any adult baptized Catholic, who has not yet celebrated Eucharist and/or Confirmation.
